TabTrade Overview - What to Know Before You Sign Up

TabTrade — The Short Version

TabTrade opened in Q1 2026. Trading platform incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.

His background matters. It says the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.

The instrument list: FX, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, shares, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For a broker that is a few months old, that range is broad.

What You Trade On

You get: MT5, cTrader, and web trading. Two major platforms from the same login. Many only give you one or the other. Having both matters. You are not locked into one.

MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, EAs, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform previously, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader is the more modern one. Better depth of market. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. A lot of traders prefer it after comparing.

Direct FIX connectivity is there for bots but is only on the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is apparently in the works. That would be a good addition when it lands.

Accounts and Pricing

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. No commission. Easy to track. Zero deposit requirement. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your real cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is good for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. This broker requires zero deposit.

VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, faster fills, custom pricing. Not for most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.

Infrastructure

This is the area where this broker stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. The average platform operate at 100ms to 300ms.

Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, you will not notice. The point is they invested in proper execution. That signals something about priorities.

Combine those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the overall offering holds up. Hardly anyone in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.

The FSRA Question

This is the detail you need to be straight about. TabTrade is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.

That said. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. None of this guarantee anything. It should be part of your assessment.

The deal: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal makes sense comes down to your priorities.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade runs a deposit bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard sign-up bonus. You put money in, they top up your balance. The normal fine print: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Review the fine print before you deposit.

Everything in one place, covering regulation, withdrawals, pricing, check here and click here the bonus here terms, is at Trade The Day.
