TabTrade Review - The Good and the Catch

Tab Trade - The Short Version

TabTrade.com launched in March 2026. Online broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection is relevant. It suggests the leadership has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. Still more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.

The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. Tab Trade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.

The instrument list: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For something that is a few months old, that coverage is broad.

Platforms

Available: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from the same login. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Access to both matters. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is the default. Full charting, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used MT4 or MT5 previously, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. Many people prefer it once they try it.

Direct FIX connectivity is available for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is apparently on the roadmap. That will round things out once it is live.

What You Pay

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. $0 to start. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade does not.

VIP. $25k to open. FIX API, faster fills, tailored rates. Not relevant to typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.

Infrastructure

The speed is the thing this broker stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. The average platform operate at hundreds of milliseconds.

Does this affect you? For short-term trading, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. The point is the setup is serious. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Pair those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get is strong. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.

Regulation

Now, the thing you need to be straight about. The broker is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a dealbreaker, stop reading. There are FCA-regulated options out there.

However. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Scam brokers do not invest in Equinix connectivity. That does not guarantee anything. It does factor into your assessment.

What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether the trade-off is worth it depends on you.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade offers a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Usual sign-up bonus. You put money in, TabTrade top up your balance. The normal fine print: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Read the conditions before you commit.

Everything in one place, with the full fee table, withdrawal policies, read more and check here regulatory details, is at tradetheday.com.
